Shorey Park in Bridgton, Maine.

To everyone's delight, Art in the Park, held in Bridgton's Shorey Park was held on a beautiful, sunny Saturday, July 17.  The crowd was especially jovial as they enjoyed a hot, but breezy, summer day while visiting the many talented artists as they strolled through the park, many carrying the purchase of "just what they always wanted".  Visitors lounged on park benches or on the grass as they listened to music and enjoyed their lunch.

 Judging wall art were Susan Colburn and Jim Flahaven, of the University of Southern Maine. The following were winners in that category:

1st Place: Ellen O'Neill - Bridgton

2nd Place: Janet Gill, Denmark

3rd Place: Terry Carlson, Casco
